Daniel Nernberg

Daniel Lee Nernberg has been a nationwide commercial and residential real estate investor for over 37 years. He began his career in his 20s, purchasing and renovating properties while also establishing a successful specialty contracting business in Los Angeles. As one of the youngest and most prominent owner-operators in his field, he built a company known for its strong employee retention—an achievement he attributes to empowering his team while leading by example. Often, he’d be quoted as saying, “I’d never ask anyone to do anything I wouldn’t do myself.”
After selling his contracting business in 2014, Daniel shifted his focus to philanthropy. As a baby boomer and senior citizen, he is passionate about supporting underprivileged seniors and their families. Deeply inspired by his upbringing and the values instilled by his parents, he is committed to making a meaningful impact through the 1Heart Cares Foundation and looks forward to accomplishing the foundation’s goals. Together with his wife, Belina Nernberg, CEO of 1Heart Caregiver Services, Daniel is dedicated to creating a legacy of service and compassion. With open hearts, they embrace the challenge of improving the lives of seniors in need, setting an example for their five children and future generations. |

Belina Calderon-Nernberg

Belina Calderon-Nernberg is a dynamic entrepreneur and visionary leader with over 25 years of experience in HR recruitment and senior home care services. As the founder and CEO of multiple successful companies, including 1Heart Caregiver Services, she has been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth and national expansion.
A minority migrant worker who started with humble beginnings, Belina worked tirelessly to overcome challenges and build a successful career in the U.S. Through hard work, perseverance, and unwavering determination, she turned her vision into reality, creating opportunities for others while making a lasting impact in the senior care industry. Her principle-centered leadership, strategic vision, and ability to harness corporate talent have driven 1Heart’s success, enabling the company to achieve remarkable business milestones and positive impact in the community. Under her leadership, 1Heart Caregiver Services has grown from a single office in Los Angeles to multiple locations across California and other states, establishing itself as a trusted name in senior care. Belina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and has received numerous awards for her contributions to finance, business, and social services. Her inspiring journey from a migrant worker to a successful CEO continues to empower others to pursue their dreams and achieve success. |

Randolph Clarito

Randolph Neil Clarito is the Senior Vice President of Franchise Growth and Strategy and Franchise Corporate Trainer at 1Heart Caregiver Services. He leads the implementation of corporate strategy and franchise programs, driving business growth and enhancing the company's impact across all franchise territories. With 42 years of corporate healthcare experience — including leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies—and 18 years in franchising, he has played a pivotal role in 1Heart’s expansion and success.
Randolph co-founded 1Heart Caregiver University, developed key training programs, and helped establish 1Heart Franchise, leveraging his expertise in international franchising. His contributions have earned him multiple accolades, including the TOP LA Award for Leadership Excellence and 1Heart’s Above and Beyond and Visionary Award. Beyond his corporate leadership, Randolph is deeply committed to community service. He has volunteered with the Thousand Oaks Council on Aging, the Alzheimer’s Association, and is a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Global AI Eagles. He also pioneered the 1Heart Neurobics brain exercise modules and is launching the 1Heart Cognitive Wellness Method to support senior cognitive health. |

Faith Bautista Tamashiro

Faith Bautista Tamashiro serves as the President & CEO of the National Diversity Coalition (NDC), an organization of community organizers, faith-based leaders, nonprofit directors and business owners advocating for the voiceless and working collectively for greater financial equality and empowerment for underserved groups. Faith serves on the Mechanics Bank Homeownership Advisory Committee, Bank of Hope Advisory Board, Chair for PG&E Advisory Board and Council of Filipino American Chamber of Commerce that has 36 chambers in the US.
She is the founder of the first Asian owned television network and the only fully English AAPI entertainment channel to be aired in 41 states across the country, ChimeTV. She is also the founder and former president and CEO of the National Asian American Coalition (NAAC), a nonprofit that provides housing counseling, small business lending and technical assistance services to minority and low-income populations for over 18 years. Faith Bautista advocates in the halls of Congress, in the California legislature, and in front of key federal legislators such as the Federal Reserve, FDIC, OCC, FHFA, FTC, FCC and SEC and among America’s Fortune 500 corporations, as a major voice for the ethnic minority. |

Kevin Tagarao

Kevin Tagarao is the Chief Operating Officer of Operations of 1Heart Caregiver Services. He is responsible for franchise support and development of the 1Heart Franchise network and corporate-owned locations. With the vision of evolving 1Heart Caregiver Services into a premier national home care provider, Kevin has made it his focus to enhance company services and streamline corporate procedures. To improve efficiency, he has consolidated 1Heart’s core systems by facilitating the integration of new technologies. His implementation of various corporate strategies has helped improve the efficiency and effectiveness of 1Heart’s system of operations to better serve families in need of homecare.
Prior to his current role Kevin spent several years as 1Heart’s Digital Marketing Manager. His responsibilities included establishing an online web presence by spearheading the creation of 1HeartCares.com and building the foundation for various social media campaigns. Kevin graduated from California State University of Northridge College of Business and Economics with a Bachelor of Business Management. |

Camille Deguzman

Is the Managing Partner of Deguzman Corporation and Deguzman Enterprise, operating 1Heart Santa Barbara, 1Heart Oceanside, and 1Heart Del Mar. In 2016, she and Raymond Deguzman founded 1Heart Santa Barbara, a home care franchise dedicated to delivering high-quality senior care. They later expanded their operations to Oceanside and Del Mar, strengthening their commitment to serving the community.
With a strong background in finance, Camille plays a key role in growing 1Heart’s presence and impact. She holds a degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman and has extensive experience in banking, investment, and fund management. Before moving to California, she spent seven years in the banking industry, serving as an Institutional Accounts Manager at Citibank and the Bank of the Philippine Islands. |

Pia Azores

Has over 15 years of experience in banking, finance, and management. This background has prepared her to help 1Heart Thousand Oaks become one of the best home care agencies in Ventura County.
As the Director of Operations, Pia ensures that every department runs smoothly and meets the high standards she sets for the company. She enjoys helping others identify their goals and grow in their careers. Pia prioritizes the well-being and safety of each senior and uses her skills to run a successful agency, alongside her husband TJ. Pia grew up in a close-knit family, and she looks up to her mother as her greatest role model. She is known for being humble, a good listener, and empathetic. People appreciate her friendly nature and know she is always willing to help. While she spends her days at 1Heart, Pia's main motivation is her family of four. In her free time, she enjoys whipping up desserts with her children, arts & crafts, and hosting gatherings, making her home welcoming for family and friends. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. |
